Save money in your daily life

Petrol price increasing, rice price increasing, rental increasing, inflation fly high…….the only thing that is not increase, SALARY! To survive in today’s cruel living style, we have to learn on how to save money and use money wisely. Many of us may not realize that every cents we earn, not up to 5% goes into saving, and this situation shows a very dangerous posture when we step into the retiring age. From now, we should practice some of the tips shown below, I MEAN IT!

1. If you household consists of more than three peoples, consider to cook yourself. Buying food from stall would easily cost you 5-7 bucks per person per meal.

2. Go to work by car pooling with colleagues, avoid driving car without carry any passengers. Allow your passengers sharing your pain. Take public transport too if possible, although this is time consuming, but you can save a lot of money in long run.

3. Use recycling material instead of buying, for instance, plastic bag from hypermarket can be used for home dust bin and old clothes can be used for floor cleaning.

4. Purchase daily compulsory consumables like toilet papers, can foods, body shampoo in bulk, especially during promotion period. These thing will not be expired easily and usually is able to last for long period. Purchase them in bulk would save you some money instead of buying them separately.

5. Most of the books and DVDs can be borrowed on a renting basis, if you are not intend to collect them or use it for long term, consider to rent them instead of buying them.

6. Apply for money rewards card provided by hypermarket and use it wisely during shopping, you will find a good return after some times. Choose only the reward card for money redemption instead of item redemption, because you don’t usually have much choice on the item that is redeemable.

Agreed with you. Economy and politic must be splited. We are living in the “hot oil” condition. Telling lie if inflation rate is 7.7 in Malaysia. The actual inflation rate is 11.5-13.0.
